How long the plastic mold making time
Plastic molds generally have to go through four steps: blanking, processing, trimming and assembly, and test molds. After the mold test, it needs to be sent to the customer. After the customer is satisfied, the sample can be directly sealed and the mold can be post-processed. If it is not satisfactory, the mold must be modified until the customer is satisfied.
If it is arranged according to the time of the small mold, the cutting will take 2-3 days, and the processing will basically take 2-3 weeks. It takes 2-3 days to assemble, and it takes almost 25 days after adding the time for the test mold. At most, the time is compressed again. Basically, the sample time is 22-25 days. This time is almost at the limit. If the other party tells you that the sample can be produced in more than 10 days, it is basically impossible. If it is a large mold, the processing time will be extended to 4-6 weeks. The assembly also takes 4-5 days to complete, so the large molds are basically completed in about 45-60 days, nd there is not much time compression. Basically, it is estimated that it takes 25 days to make a small mold from the blank to the sample report. If the large mold is used, the time will be extended.
